Completing a Beginner Driver Education course allows you to test for your G2 in 8 months from the time you got your G1 instead of waiting 1 year.
Yes, our school is a Ministry Approved BDE Course Provider.
You can start the course without your G1, however you must obtain your G1 within a few weeks of completing the classroom portion of the program. You will not be able to begin your in car lessons without your G1.
Yes, we offer eLearning which you learn from home at your own pace. You will be able to start this at anytime. In person classes run on prescheduled course dates and you can find those listed under our Course Dates tab. You would simply pick the best dates for you to complete the program in person.
The MTO allows students 1 year to complete the course from the first day of class. Beyond one year students forfeit the online certification process.
Our instructors book your lessons in such a way that you’re able to practice between each session outside of the 10 hours. Each individual is different when it comes to how much time in needed in the car. We stress to our students that practice makes perfect, so the time between lessons will be key in your development. Should you require additional lessons beyond the 10 hours we do offer packages and individual sessions.
We offer flexible payment plans that can be prearranged with the office directly. The deposits at the time of registration vary depending on the package you request. We accept payment by Cash, Cheque, Debit, E-Transfer and Credit.
Once you’ve completed the in class training we will assign you an in-car instructor and give you their information to book lessons with them directly.
Once you have completed all components of the course we will process your certification with the Ministry of Transportation. The time frame for this to be processed is 1 week from the date of your last lesson. You can contact our main office to confirm that you’re certified prior to going to pick up for your certificate. You will need to go into a Service Ontario office and request a copy of your Driver’s License History. This costs $12 and is what the MTO uses as your certificate.
In 2008 the Ministry of Transportation made the change to have students obtain their Driver’s License History from Service Ontario. Driving Schools no longer receive copies of certificate and certificate numbers.
You can visit www.drivetest.ca or call 1.888.570.6110. If you’d like you can call our office directly and we can assist you in booking your test as well.
